I sent it using United States Postal Service (usps). I did use full zip code (75185-2401). I also used usps return receipt, which means somebody from USCIS has to sign this form.
Return receipt is problem for PO Boxes. This is unattended. Not sure who signs it. Generally they put a paper in Mail Box., and based on that someone will be picking from Post Office.
This is the reason for it - so it will be delivered.
I just use delivery confirmation for P.O. Boxes.

As far as I know, your only options to get GC are:
-- DREAM ACT (which is not something you can control)
-- Marry a US Citizen (which obviously is something you can consider)
In the meantime, whatever you do, do not go out of the country.

There are so many things that come into picture such as ability to pay , proferred wage , qualifications of individual , requirements for the job.
Can any one predict when will 2008 PDS will become current for people from India whether Eb2 or EB3 . As far as I can predict it really does not matter if some one is looking at PD of 2008 and from India , one is there for a long time if congress does not act.

I Agree there are some particularly bright ideas about fund raising but I dont think there is any significant variety in opinions regarding immigration floating around that we might miss. I would rather have people put their opinions into practise (by contributing) rather than simply share them.

I strongly discourage the word "Attroney" for everything. Just because of memebers like kriskris these Attroney's are living lavishly. What the heck these Attroneys know that we don't know. Don't we know how to write our names? Don't we know how to fill an application form? Please stop saying "Attroney" for everything. These are not complex things. Please note according to one survey 70% of Americans don't know how to fill Bank application. Attroneys are just making the money out of this situation.

All i am educating him is to file through his employer. In fact i don't personally like attorneys. When i filed my 485 on July 2, i filled the entire application by doing my own research and all my attorney did was signing it. Just to sign it also she said she was busy and she didn't file my EAD/AP.

Company B can not apply based on EB1, They have to apply only in EB2 or EB3.
To Join company b you have to use
L1
- not possible.
H1
- October 2009 possibly if you get your visa
- Green card not in EB1
EAD

Last option
- Go to india work with them for a year and comeback in L1 and then apply on EB1 must be faster. Provided you get L1 to come here. I hear now a days they are rejecting L1s left and right.

My lawyer asked for separate checks for each application.. FP is always added to I-485 fees.. But since they issued EAD receipt for you and spouse, that means definitely 2 485s... Guess you need to wait for the receipts to get the missing receipt # or you can call USCIS...

...What shutter speed did you get for the geese images?...I have tried using camoflage clothes as well as a blind but I think you still have to visit the same place for an extended period to let the birds get used to the addition of the blind or you-posing-as-a-bush in their environment.

with the 12mm tube. I have learned the value of stillness in photographing birds and small mammals. In fact, just moving really slowly, like you are doing tai-chi, seems to shorten the spook time before the animals come back.

No, last LUD was in Dec. It does not matter, because in between LUDs are not happening. Directly people are getting a HARD LUD for GC approval.

I have not even used my EAD. I expect it to be related to Birth certificate as i didn't have original and submitted affidavit etc. But not sure may be something else too.
My lawyer had applied for EB2 in I-140 but approval came for EB3. then they reapplied and next approval came for EB2. May be that.
Just guessing as that's the only thing i can do now.
One intresting thing i think my case might have got picked is we applied for my husband's EAD and after that have seen soft LUDs on our cases. may be just coincidence.

Check processing times online for your service center.
I believe Nebraska Service Center is processing the July 2, 2007 receipt dates so you should be seeing it soon.
If you are travelling you can also contact the local service center and talk to the director over there regarding this to explain your case (but I doubt this will help too much without a good reason)

Yes! I have my H1-B Case Filing Receipt Notice with EAC number.
I see the same message (as you posted) when I tried to see the status first time around Mid Nov. I thought it may take few days or a week to appear online (based on the past). But, same message till now!!
Something is not linked right and may be due to some upgrade USCIS were doing in last few months. Not Sure!!!

Is this something common?. I did not get any emails after that. Following is the relevant part of the email....
"Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On April 3, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."
What else do you want Bro. Give 30 days time to USCIS to send your card. we, most of us, would me more satisfied just to see the magical words - Current Status: Card production ordered in our case status.
Regarding holding card in physically, have to wait some time. Which should not be more taxing than waiting to see the magical words.

Well in those cases the term "Long Term" does not apply because as per my understanding, the longest duration one can be on "Conditional Residency" is 2 years.
I think this is smart ploy by Lord Session. It hits multiple birds with one stone.
1. He can attract moderate republicans, centrist and independents by showing he cares for immigration. Election season is approaching!
2. Create in-fight between legal and illegal supporters.
3. Weaken CIR... Pleasing his base

I just got me H1B approval Notice and copy of I-129 petition. There is nothing wrong with approval but I notice few things and have few concerns/questions to the group if some one had similar experience in the past:
1. Passport number was not correctly typed in form I-129 (however copies passport were sent along with the forms by immigration dept)
2. My Alien number does not show up in 797A approval notice as I have pending 485.
3. The I-94# on passport card does not match with the one on new approval notice.
Now My questions is :
Do I need to get this passport#(1) typo fixed now or its ok?
Is it ok not have A# updated in H1B Approval Notice? My wife's H4 have her A#.
Do I need to get my I-94# matched with the one I had in my previous notice and A/D card stapled in passport?
All this happened due to mistakes commited by our Immigration/attorney.Now she is not ready to listen and asks me to call customer service as she thinks its not her problem.
Any suggestions/experience are apreciated.
