Try to get as much info about this acquisition. I was in simillar situation. Company I used to work with got acquired by another company. and that time our labor was pending. We had to start process all over again and end up losing our two year of PD, because New company was located in different state. their tax id was different etc.
My advice to you is consult with good attorney.

My sponsoring company 'A' was acquired by company 'B' last month and name changed to company 'B' with B's pay stubs.
Am on H1 now and i applied my 485 in August 2007 with 140 approved in May 2007.
Company B informed me that they informed USCIS regarding the acquisition(i don't what they mean !!).
Questions:
1. How is my green card process proceeds with company 'B'? Should the company 'B' file I140 amendment or is there any thing they have to take care?
2. Can i join with company 'C' by invoking AC21?
Please share your thoughts and experiences.

When did they receive GC approval? Is it recent or 1-2 years ago?
I personally know one my co-worker and other a friend's friend. Both from India & didn't even informed INS (now CIS) about job change. No RFE, they did recieve their GC without any issues.

Usually consulting companies put generic designations like software engineer or a programmer analayst in their LC. I think that is what you should look for the classification. This is a gray area.
There is a title called consultant. I have labor and I-140 approved on this title.

I am sure you don't even have to be in the US to trade in US stocks. There are people that have never been to the US that participate actively in US stocks and just as Americans participate in some foreign markets too.

It is a new EAD and not an extension of your old EAD. You can go online and e-file and there is no need for a lawyer. As you have all your GC details including your Alien #, it is very straight forward.
Are you sure we can e-file ? How will we provide supporting documents like, copy of pending I-485, old EAD approval etc ? Is it safe to assume that USCIS will find out all those information by just Alien # ?
As far as I remember on the EAD filing instructions, they mention that employment based EADs are not eligible for e-filing. Or are they referring to H1Bs etc ?
Also, what if we don't get the new EAD before the current one expires ? Has anybody asked their lawyers ?

If notice of action for I-485 does not have a priority date written on it, can I still file WOM since I've had an interview 2 years ago without result? How did your wom filing go?

the immigration doctor gave us a supplement for only the tetanus shot since its a limited time vaccine ,according to him.
i dont think it will be a case for rejection,at worst an RFE..

I am also in the same situation and I asked my attorney. He said that if we can get notarized affidavits from Parents then it is sufficient. So get the format from your attorney and get it signed by your parents. They need at least 2 affidavits who were present at the time of the birth.

So you are good to go. This means, when the company applied for your H1, they also applied for your wife's extension using form I-539.
When your wife presents the I-797 in her name, a new I-94 will be given upto 12/25/2009.
There are few cases, where out of ignorance or negligence, they do not apply I-539 while applying for H1, thereby jeopardising h4 status.
In your case, it has been done right. so no worries.

There's definitely something fishy about the way these events took a sudden turn. It's all surfacing now. USCIS certainly needs to have transparency in the way they performs their duties. This is entirely unacceptable.

Looks like the EB2 dates for india have retrogressed by two years. I am applying for green card and would like to know if I shouls go with EB2 or EB3.

I dont think its as simple as choosing between EB2 or EB3. It would depend on your job description and which category the job qualifies for. Not all jobs would qualify for EB2. You should consult an immigration attorney to discuss your case.

I agree with raj. IV goals are clearly mentioned on the homepage and it appears its activities so far are consistent with its stated objectives. As a self funded group with limited resources, the fronts on which the battle can be fought have to be selected. Currently, the struggle is to get legal, high skilled immigrants on temporary working visas a more defined and timely path to their long term career and life goals. There will always be issues which the core group will hopefully consider and act on in the future.

thanks for your post. Ya its my sister's wedding. I had decided to go until this H1 revocation email came. I has seen some cases on IV a while ago where people got the H1 revocation email and I-485 denied without NOID/RFE. If this happens when I am in India I am screwed.
I realize that 80% nothing will happen, but it is that off chance that something happens to I-485 when I am out of the country which has me worried.
Anyways 2 more weeks of thinking I guess before I board that flight. Hanging by this EAD/AP thread and uncertainities of AC21 etc is really painful.
