I am getting this error for last two days
"Multiple duplicate SRs already exist for the customer" i tried creating different account also . any thoughts???
Received the RFE today. It was asking for my birth certificate copy & translation. My lawyer says this is very common. For me this is stupid, they already got my birth certificate copy and the translation.

You can do it anywhere. I got my F1-H1 change of status stamping from Canada.
For first time H1B stamping, do we have to get it done in our Home country (India in my case)? Or can we get it done in Canada or Mexico?
I am currently on my OPT and have applied for my H1B visa. Your input will be appreciated!

On July 29 , 2005 you got it approved. What will be EAD 2 's start date? 30 July , 2005 or Jan10, 2006?

Here is my suggestion:
Apply for H-4 as this should be straight-forward and fly your wife the US in March. Prepare H-1 papers and get it ready to reach USCIS on April 1st.
If H-1 is acceped in lottery(assuming there is going to be one), then H-1 status starts from October 1st. For travel purpose your wife will have to get H-1 stamping (which can happen only after October 1st).
Hope this helps.

Yes one must be a Greencard holder to attain unemployment benifits.
Not permitted with EAD.
This is not true. People in AOS can apply for unemployment benefits. Unemployment benefits are paid by employers and all you need is an A number to get it.

Hi, I recently got married to an American Citizen. I am Canadian citizen and on travel visa here. I filed my I-485 jut last week. My question is how long does it take to get permanent resident approval?
Since you got married to a us citizen, the entire process is much faster and you must have the green card in less than 6 or utmost 9 months.

Mine is 2003 EB3 labor, I don�t have copy of the labor. Don�t know the job code and title, planning to switch AC21 and not sure how to get this code as i had already left the old blood sucking desi employer, any suggestions,

I am in the similar situation too. I don't have my Labor approval copy and I changed my job using AC21. Now I am trying to change my attorney since my ex employee's attorney will not talk to me and all the RFEs will still go to him unless I file a G-28 form. But all the attorneys I talked to is asking for that LCA form from my previous employer.
My question to you is are you able to find an attorney to represent you since you changed the job?..

My husband is working for company X on H1-B and he could possibly be fired in couple of weeks. My questions are:
1. Does he need to leave the country on his last working day? Can he stay for a couple of weeks to look for another job?
2. If he finds a job after getting fired, will he be out of status till he finds a job?
3. If for example, 15th of May is his last working day in Company X and his H1B transfer process starts on 25th of May. Will the gap in the number of days of visa filling be an issue in future for Green card processing?
4. I am currently on H4. During his H1B transfer, does anything need to be done for my visa?

Hello All,
My first I-140 (EB3) got denied and is pending in appeals office for more than 1-1/2 years. Since 140 was denied my 485 was also denied.
Later we filed new labor (in 2009) and 140 (EB-2) and got approval after 8 months.
My questions are:
1. Can I file 'motion to reopen' for 485s based on new 140 approval and use the previous priority date (which is 2004)?
2. If not, can I file motion to reopen 485 based on old 140 (which is pending in appeals office) and later if they are open, can we link these 485s with new 140?
Please advise.

I think it means , can enter country with H1B visa stamped before entering, if Advance parole is not there
What if you have AP but not used it, instead used the re-validation rule to enter into the country, using H1. Would that invoke abandonment of 485?

�Can I be in H1b and still work another job as a part-time?
�If my wife wants to work using her EAD does it have any effect on her h4 status?
�If my wife loose her job during the use of her EAD what will be her status?
�I applied my I485 in July 2, 2007. As I already received my EAD, can I be unemployed after 180 days and start a business by myself?
�I know after receiving the AP I visit any their country. What will be my status after I come back? Still H1b or anything else?
It will be very much appreciated if some can answer my questions?

However I am hugely opposed to vaccinations ever since I had a hideous reaction to a flu shot, but I'm opposed to vaccines especially in pregnancy and USCIS will not accept me not having the tetanus vaccine. Our immigration doctor said I have no choice. I also don't like the mercury and formaldehyde that they put in vaccines and the fact they say it "won't hurt" my baby doesn't go well with me at all. It's interesting how the medical community says "sure, have the shot" yet people in other forums that I've seen say "don't do it!!"
